Carla Fernandez Bunny

The Carla Fernández exhibit at Museo Franz Mayer displays her talent as a haute couture designer.  The collection is truly exceptional. Her unyielding commitment to celebrating the timeless textile techniques and living cultural traditions of indigenous communities, which is elegantly showcased in her fashion house garments, is truly remarkable.  You can visit the Carla Fernandez website for additional details, including her current collection, and retail locations.

A Mexican fashion manifesto

The “Carla Fernandez Fashion House.  A Mexican Fashion Manifesto” exhibit, which is currently being held at the Franz Mayer Museum in Mexico City, is divided into six nuclei that delve into the creative and linking processes behind Fernández’s collections.  Additionally, the exhibition beautifully integrates her “Fashion Manifesto in Resistance,” a groundbreaking initiative that presents fashion as a powerful instrument for political and social activism.  This proposal not only promotes cultural appreciation and fair trade, but also shines a much-needed spotlight on the importance of ethical and sustainable fashion practices.  Don’t miss the chance to experience this extraordinary exhibit, which runs until July 09, 2023.
